Parents
We believe that education for children begins with the parents (Proverbs 1:8). Our goal in Kid City is to supplement the instruction and influence of the parents, not to supplant it. We want to connect kids with their parents and resource the parents to share wisdom and knowledge with their children. We employ several strategies to encourage parents to embrace their role of primary "disciplers" of their children.
We meet the first Sunday of every month @ 9:30 am for an event called Family Experience. At FX, parents and children join together for live, creative worship, drama, a family activity, and an encouraging message. Once a quarter, we expand our FX service and meet on a Saturday night for great family fun and worship. Our Saturday night events are called FX LIVE! and are usually followed with a meal.
